He was born in Szeghalom, 17. 01. 1973.

He was introduced to volleyball during his high school studies in Békéscsaba, in Gábor Kemény Vocational School. He taught in Békéscsaba in Szent László Street Elementary School for 5 years. Over the last 10 years, he has been an administer of the student and leisure sport events department of the Mayor’s Office of Békéscsaba.

He graduated in coaching at the age of 18. For 7 years, he was the coach of Békéscsaba FDSE (National I adult and junior), and from 2000, a founding member, the Vice Chairman and the coach of the transformed Békéscsabai RSE.

For 2 years, he worked beside Geza Ducsai with the Hungarian youth girls’ national team, during which he gained a lot of experience. His adult and junior teams has also achieved good results. Already in the season of 2012/2013, they achieved 3rd place in the Hungarian Cup and the Hungarian Championship. In the season of 2013/2014, sports history was written as his adult women’s team, Békéscsabai RSE, won the Hungarian Championship. This was the first gold medal in Békés county’s history of team sports. In the season of 2014/2015 Békéscsabai RSE won the Hungarian Championship again.

Best results in the last leagues, in 2013/2014: Hungarian Championship 1st place, 3rd place in the Hungarian Cup, National Youth Cup 1st place, National Junior Championship 3rd place.

Within the Hungarian Volleyball Association, he has held many positions in the past few decades (Board Member, Youth Committee, Beach Committee, responsible for Sport XXI. Program in Southern Hungary).

As the President of Békés County’s Volleyball Association, he organizes a significant volleyball life, with open amateur county championship, and - the almost 20-year-old - Southern Plains Beach Volleyball Championship and other events.

-          Középiskolai tanulmányai alatt Békéscsabán, a Kemény Gábor Szakközépiskolában ismerkedett meg közelebbről a röplabda sportággal. 5 évig Békéscsabán, a Szent László Utca Általános Iskolában tanított, majd az elmúlt 10 évben a Békéscsabai Polgármesteri Hivatalban a Sportcsoporton belül a diák- és szabadidősport rendezvények lebonyolítását végzi.

18 éves korában szerzett edzői végzettséget. 7 évig a Békéscsabai FDSE edzője (NB I-es felnőtt, majd utánpótlás), 2000-től, pedig az ebből átalakult Békéscsabai RSE edzője, alapító tagja, elnökhelyettese, mindenese.

2 évig a magyar ifjúsági leány válogatottnál, Ducsai Géza mellett dolgozott, ahol sok tapasztalatot szerzett. A felnőtt és utánpótlás csapataival is szép eredményeket ért el.  Már a 2012/2013. évi szezonban a Magyar Bajnokságban és a Magyar Kupa is 3. helyet szereztek, de a 2013/2014-es szezonban sporttörténelmet írtak, hiszen felnőtt magyar bajnokságot nyert a Békéscsabai RSE. Ez volt Békés megyében az első aranyérem a csapatsportágaknál. A 2014/2015-ös bajnokságot ismét megnyerte a a Békéscsabai RSE.

Legjobb eredményei az elmúlt bajnokságban, 2013/2014-ben: Magyar Bajnokság 1. hely, Magyar Kupa 3. hely, Országos Ifjúsági Kupa 1. hely, Országos Junior Bajnokság 3. hely.

A Magyar Röplabda Szövetségen belül rengeteg funkciót töltött be az elmúlt évtizedekben (elnökségi tag, Utánpótlás és Ifjúsági Bizottság, Strandröplabda Bizottság, Sport XXI. Program dél-alföldi régió felelőse).

A Békés Megyei Röplabda Szövetség elnökeként komoly röplabdás életet szervez, nyílt megyei amatőr bajnoksággal, a már majdnem 20 éves Dél-alföldi Strandröplabda Bajnoksággal és egyéb rendezvényekkel.
